International PhD Student
Oliwia Kordyl, MSc in Biotechnology, is a PhD candidate conducting her research in an external study mode under the supervision of Dr. Bożena Michniak-Kohn (Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey) and Prof. Tomasz Osmałek (Poznań University of Medical Sciences). Her research focuses on the development of microneedle systems fabricated using advanced 3D printing methods for the localized delivery of antifungal drugs (clotrimazole and voriconazole) in the treatment of fungal skin infections.
In addition to her PhD research, Oliwia works as a laboratory manager at Poznań University of Medical Sciences, Poland. She is actively involved in a project titled “3D Printing as a Tool for Developing Transdermal Microneedle Systems with Enhanced Efficacy in Treating Depressive Disorders.”
