Dr. Roychowdhury has over 20 years of experience in adult and pediatric interventional and diagnostic neuroradiology. He graduated from the Northwestern University Honors Program in Medical Education (HPME) combining a BS in Biomedical Engineering with Highest Distinction (1989) and MD with Alpha Omega Alpha (1992). He completed the Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Northwestern University 1997 and Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania (1999). He has been an attending interventional and diagnostic neuroradiologist at the University Radiology Group and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School since 1999. Dr. Roychowdhury also has extensive experience in medicolegal aspects of neuroradiology.
Procedures performed: Endovascular Treatment of Brain Aneurysms, Endovascular Treatment of Stroke, Endovascular Treatment of Neck and Spinal Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM) and Arteriovenous Fistulas Percutaneous (AVF), Percutaneous Treatment of Head, Neck and Spinal Vascular Malformations; Kyphoplasty, SpineJack Kyphoplasty, and Vertebroplasty of Spinal Fractures, Sacroplasty, Radiofrequency Ablation and Cryoablation of Spinal, Pelvis, Sacral and Axial Skeleton Bone Tumors, Pediatric Interventional Neuroradiology Procedures, Vein and Galen Malformation Embolization, Cerebral and Spinal Angiography; Percutaneous Treatment of CSF Leaks, Combined Embolization, Cryoablation and Cementoplasty of Advanced Bone Tumors, Embolization of Head and Neck Tumors, Embolization of Uncontrolled Nosebleeds.
