Sabeen Masih

Sabeen Masih is the Senior Vice President of Capital Impact Group (CIG), where her policy expertise ranges from healthcare to cannabis and alcohol regulatory affairs. She represents a variety of clients including Progressive Insurance, Girl Scouts of New Jersey, the Humane Society of the US, and the Wine Institute.

Sabeen earned her Dual BA in History and Political Science and Minor in Spanish at Drexel, and worked for a Philadelphia Councilman, and on state campaigns as a Speech Writer. Sabeen earned a Masters of Public Policy from Rutgers, and was an Eagleton Fellow.

Sabeen has been with CIG since 2015, and has since then has co-founded the growing Asian Women of Trenton Networking Group, the Bipartisan Coalition for Women’s Appointments (BCWA), and was just appointed by Governor Murphy to the NJ AAPI Commission.

As a young advocate herself, Sabeen supports the next generation of policymakers by serving as a Mentor for: Rider Women’s Leadership Council, Rutgers’ Road to Government, Policy and Service program, and the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Sabeen also is a member of Senate Majority Leader Weinberg’s Working Group on Harassment, Sexual Assault and Misogyny in NJ Politics, to bring women’s voices and experiences to light in hopes of changing the political climate for women throughout the state.

Sabeen has been named to ROI NJ’s Top Women in Business and Influencers People of Color List, Insider NJ’s Top 100 Millennial Power List, and Insider NJ’s Top 11 Policymakers List.
