Midwifery Grant Coordinator
Elizabeth Auricchio, DNP, CNM, WHNP-BC (she/her), is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University School of Nursing. She began her nursing journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The College of New Jersey and went on to earn her dual Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Midwifery and Women’s Health from Rutgers University. For the past three years, Elizabeth has coordinated the New Jersey Midwifery Education Project, advancing midwifery training and expanding access to high-quality maternal care across the state. In her clinical practice, she specializes in community birth, offering families safe and empowering home birth options alongside trusted hospital birth experiences. Through her work as a clinician, educator, and project leader, Elizabeth is dedicated to advancing the midwifery profession and fostering evidence-based, compassionate care for all birthing families.
