The Moment of Racial Reckoning

As nationwide protests raged in the summer of 2020 following the killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor at the hands of police, many believed that our nation was finally experiencing “a moment of racial reckoning.” In this conversation, a panel of race and ethnicity scholars situate the 2020 protests in a historical context and discuss the challenges and possibilities of this political moment for people of color in the United States.
