RU Engaged: A Community Engaged Byrne Seminar with Alternative Spring Break* – Community Gardens
Are you looking for opportunities to get engaged with the New Brunswick community?
After learning about urban gardening and community food systems in this interactive Byrne Seminar, you’ll dive into community-based gardening and emergency food projects during a weeklong Spring Break trip in New Brunswick. You will stay in a New Brunswick hotel with your peers and spend your days working with community organizations. While you continue to learn about community food security and how non-profits and government address hunger in the community, you’ll participate in service-learning opportunities.
