Sparta Mountain Trip

RU Wildlife Society will be joining the Forestry Club for a full-day trip to the Sparta Mountain Wildlife Management Area. Forester Don Donnelly and wildlife biologist Sharon Petzinger will serve as guides through the area, which is a part of an ongoing stewardship project that removes trees in order to create successional habitat for wildlife.

• 8:00 AM: Meet at Waller Hall
• 8:15 AM: Leave Waller Hall
• 9:45 AM: Arrive at Sparta Mountain WMA
• 1:00 PM: Depart Sparta Mountain
• 1:30 PM: Meet somewhere for lunch
• 2:30 PM: Leave to Rutgers
