Woodbridge Tree Planting

Help the Maslo Lab plant trees and enhance wetland habitats to mitigate flood risks in Woodbridge, NJ from Monday September 27 to Thursday September 30! This project is part of the Blue Acres Program which seeks to purchase and rewild properties in flood-prone areas. You can work one or more 2 hour shifts over the course of the four days.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience with habitat restoration and protection, earn volunteer hours, and network with fellow ecologists and RUTWS members.

Refreshments and food will be provided. Please be aware that we will be doing strenuous physical activity, so bring plenty of water, apply sunscreen and bug screen, and wear clothes and shoes that you do not mind getting dirty! Hip boots or muck boots are recommended.
