Upcoming Training Opportunities
This CSS Clinician Documentation training will provide a brief overview of CSS interventions, psychiatric rehabilitation goals, values, and principles, with a primary focus on CSS documentation. More specifically, participants will learn about the Rehabilitation Needs Assessment (RNA), Individualized Rehabilitation Plan (IRP), and progress notes.
Target audience: Clinicians & Registered Nurses working in a CSS program that are responsible for completing the RNA and/or IRP (i.e., LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, RN).
The CSS Clinician Documentation training will be offered in-person and remotely. Please refrain from registering for both the in-person and remote sessions.
Training Dates:
The IN-PERSON training will be on Busch Campus at Rutgers University on May 16th from 10:00 am-4:00 pm
Register for the In-Person Training Option
The VIRTUAL/REMOTE training option will be offered via Zoom and will be completed in two sessions, scheduled for 2 consecutive Wednesdays in May.
Participants must attend both sessions:
Part 1: May 15th, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Part 2: May 22nd, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
This is a camera-on event. If you believe you cannot have your camera on throughout the Zoom session, your supervisor must contact us directly.
Register for the Online Virtual/Remote Training Option
Please join Emilie Banz on April 26th at 9:30 am for the monthly CSS Webinar, “An Introduction to using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Strategies in CSS.”
Registration is open for the CSS orientation modules available through the online learning platform Canvas. The Orientation Modules are pre-requisites to all CSS training facilitated by the Rutgers CSS Training and Technical Assistance Initiative team. There are five modules in total.
The first 3 modules open to all CSS staff cover:
- An Overview of CSS Admissions and Documentation Processes
- CSS Services
- The Golden Thread of Documentation
There are an additional two modules for staff who develop CSS documentation (clinicians/RN’s):
- Developing the Rehabilitation Needs Assessment
- Developing the Individualized Rehabilitation Plan
