Upcoming Training Opportunities
Please join us for the June webinar entitled, “Equity in Care: Addressing the Needs of LGBTQIA+ Consumers in CSS.” The webinar will be held on June 13th at 9:30 am and will be facilitated by Emilie Banz.
The WPT workshop is interactive. To facilitate a rich and insightful discussion, we ask that you come prepared with an example of a consumer with whom you have used any tools or techniques from DBT, CBT, and/or ACT, or a consumer who you think would benefit from use of these techniques. If you plan to attend, please be prepared to discuss:
- A brief background of the consumer’s presenting issues.
- The consumer’s IRP goals and objectives.
- The specific tools or techniques from DBT, CBT, or ACT that you employed, or hope to employ.
- The outcomes or any notable changes observed following the intervention.
- Any challenges you faced and how you addressed them.
- Reflections on what you learned from the experience and how it has informed your practice.
Registration: The next WPT Workshop will be live through Zoom on Tuesday 6/17, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
The workshop is for CSS staff who currently complete IRPs (licensed clinicians, RNs). Staff will present an IRP ask questions, and receive feedback and suggestions from those in their group. Participants must bring a de-identified IRP.
Registration: The next IRP Development Workshop will be live through Zoom on Thursday 6/19, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
