Description: Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PsyR) is a strengths-based approach to rehabilitation for individuals living with psychiatric conditions. In this training, we will introduce the goals, values and principles of PsyR services, identify treatment interventions aligned with these values and principles, and explore strategies to incorporate the PsyR approach into inpatient care.
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Educational Program (PREP) is an online, live webinar series provided by the NJDOH/Division of Behavioral Health Services (DBHS) and the Rutgers State Hospital Psychiatric Rehabilitation Initiative (SHPRI). Topics will include important issues for state psychiatric hospital staff.
Webinars will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3:00 pm.
