PREP Webinar: Trauma-informed Therapeutic Milieu

The inpatient psychiatric treatment setting has unique challenges that are often influenced by trauma and chronic stress which impacts the ability to maintain a therapeutic environment. This training provides an overview of the principles of Trauma Informed Care, polyvagal theory, and an understanding of responses to trauma and chronic stress. You will learn interventions for self- and co-regulation that will help to promote a trauma-informed, therapeutic milieu.
