This presentation provides an overview of practical considerations for practitioners who may work with Individuals who Sexually Offend in a variety of settings through the lens of the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model. Similarities and differences between standard mental health treatment and treatment for those who offend will be discussed. Participants will receive an overview of assessment instruments and their implications for treatment, an introduction to best practices in therapy, as well as current supervisory practices in NJ.
