Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy that is especially effective for people who have difficulty managing and regulating their emotions. DBT focuses on helping people change unhelpful behaviors and learn healthier ways to cope with problems and negative emotions. This webinar will introduce you to the basics of what DBT is and who and how it can help. The inception and foundation of DBT will be discussed, including the modules and components that are pertinent to running an adherent milieu/DBT program in a hospital setting.
