PREP Webinar: Polydipsia in Mental Health Settings
Polydipsia—excessive fluid intake—is a common but often overlooked concern in inpatient psychiatric settings. This training introduces mental health professionals to the risks, warning signs, and medical consequences associated with this behavior. Through brief case examples and practical strategies, participants will learn how to identify polydipsia early, monitor safely, and collaborate with medical teams to reduce harm and support better outcomes for individuals with serious mental illness.
