PREP Webinar: Preventing Inpatient Violence using Three Steps to Safety

The PREP for this month is a conversation with Dr. Tom Bartholomew about inpatient violence and Three Steps to Safety (3STS). Three Steps to Safety is an approach to preventing inpatient violence through the development of therapeutic relationships and communication. Dawn Reinhardt will interview Dr. Bartholomew about some of the science behind inpatient violence and the development of 3STS. Additional areas covered will be research conducted in NJ state psychiatric hospitals and the selected literature on the subject.
