This presentation will provide an overview of the history and philosophy of positive psychology. It will discuss how positive psychology concepts align with a recovery orientation. This presentation will provide an overview of positive psychology interventions which have been implemented and studied among individuals living with serious mental health conditions. This presentation will also include specific applications of positive psychology strategies such as strengths, resilience, and gratitude practices that may be useful in an inpatient setting.
