PREP Webinar: Sprituality & Psychosis

The presentation will explore the complex interplay between spirituality and psychosis. We’ll provide a broad working definition of spirituality before diving into the ways that psychosis can impact spiritual expression. Next we’ll discuss how religious beliefs and practices can aid in coping and offer a framework for spiritual assessment. Finally, we’ll share some case examples based on our own work with patients to help contextualize the discussion and highlight how chaplains navigate the complexities of spirituality and psychosis.
