This presentation will cover basic suicide statistics, address suicide-related definitions, highlight risk and protective factors, and discuss suicide evaluation and assessment tools. It will give an overview of how the field of suicide prevention has developed, how to identify individuals at risk for suicide and how to best help them. Important resources in NJ will also be shared.
