Letters of Completion are only sent to the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Please complete the form below only if you are seeking licensure in a state other than New Jersey.
Plan on working in a different state?
The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) allows nurses to practice in other NLC states, without having to obtain additional licenses. The state of New Jersey is one of those compact states. Learn More

Please Note: After you apply and successfully complete coursework, Rutgers School of Nursing will confirm your degree completion. Then, the Board of Nursing processes your application. The time it takes to process your application is up to the Board of Nursing, they are processing hundreds of applications and Rutgers has no control of the speed of the processing.

Please Note: diplomas are mailed to all graduates approximately two months after graduation to the permanent address listed in the Registrar’s database. If you need to update your permanent address go to this link.

Students can request official Rutgers transcripts at transcripts.rutgers.edu
Transcripts with conferred degree will be available two (2) weeks after your graduation date. Any transcripts ordered prior to graduation will NOT have your conferred degree.
