Pre-College Credits
Students may be awarded credits for coursework completed prior to college through the combination of advanced placement examinations, transfer credit from other institutions, and International Baccalaureate.
Please Note: Once students matriculate at Rutgers (begin their first semester) they will no longer be able to take outside credit without Academic Dean approval. Any outstanding credits that were taken previously can still be transferred in at a later date.

To receive credit, students need to have an original copy of their scores sent electronically to Rutgers directly from the College Board (https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/). Rutgers’ CEEB code is 002765.
Here is a list of advanced placement exams, scores, and the Rutgers degree credit that is awarded based on those scores.
