The first ever MemPhys workshop marked a collaboration between the SPAN Lab and the MC2 Lab! Attendees, including students, staff, and faculty, taught each other about their respective areas of expertise. The MC2 Lab representatives introduced various memory tasks used to investigate distinct memory types like recognition and recall.
Subsequently, Dr. Smith from the SPAN Lab showcased our physiology equipment, designed to monitor changes in participants’ autonomic nervous system. Volunteers had the unique opportunity to observe their heartbeat in live demonstrations!
