Welcome to Hydrology and Water Quality Research Group at Rutgers University. Our mission is to advance the understanding of hydrological processes related to flow of water in the complex natural and human systems with an overarching objective to protect soil and water as well as other natural resources for future generation. To achieve aforementioned objectives, we develop decision support tools and smart phone applications for different stakeholders to improve place-based decision making based on scientifically verified facts. We use in-situ monitoring data, field study as well as computer modeling to provide decision centric information to improve our environment in the face of climate change and other anthropogenic factors.
