I am Sadia Baba Tijjani and I did my bachelor in Computer and Mathematics in University of Jos in Nigeria. I joined University of Manchester, UK for my master’s program in Environmental Modeling, Monitoring and Reconstruction. Currently, I am at Rutgers University pursuing my PhD. My research is focusing on impacts of climate change on irrigation demand and crop production, water availability, water quality, and biogeochemical processes. I have completed a project (part of my PhD dissertation) which is evaluating the impacts of climate change on irrigation demand and crop yields in the southern part of New Jersey using process-based model (i.e. SWAT model). Currently, I am evaluating the impacts of climate change on sediment and organic carbon transport in the landscape due to soil erosion under various greenhouse gas emission scenarios.
