While research supervision is uncommon for part-time lecturers, I have been invited to mentor and supervise students in the following capacities:

  1. Spring 2026: Philosophy independent study for Cosmo Luizza’s research on AI Ethics.
  2. Fall 2025: Philosophy supervisor for Cosmo Luizza to serve as a Teaching Assistant for the course, AI & Society.
  3. Fall 2022: Religious Studies independent study for Lilian Myers’ research on Religion & Health.
  4. Spring 2022: Honors College independent study for Ayoub Said’s thesis, American Muslim Life: Law & Society.

In addition, I have supervised the following cohorts of student researchers at the AI Ethics Lab. Students participating in the AI Ethics Lab represent more than 15 academic disciplines across STEM, the humanities, the social sciences, business, and the health sciences, reflecting the Lab’s interdisciplinary reach across Rutgers–Camden.

These research collaborations have resulted in undergraduate students publishing ten articles in the AI & Human Rights Index. In February 2026, six students presented their research on AI and human rights at the Envision conference held at Princeton University.
