- MBA/MS core course
- Course description: The objective of this course is to introduce models and tools to efficiently manage operations and supply chains that produce and distribute products and services. Topics include Forecasting, production and logistics, sales and operations planning, inventory management, project management and manufacturing systems. We illustrate the effectiveness of these models and tools by real-life cases and examples drawn from diverse industries such as manufacturing, transportation, pharmaceutical, fashion and healthcare.

- Graduate elective course (required for Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management)
- Course description: This course introduces some classical optimization problems in supply chain management and related fields, and covers related modeling and solution techniques to model, evaluate, and solve these problems. The course is targeted at graduate students in the areas of supply chain management, marketing science, and operations management.
- 33:799:460, Introduction to Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Undergraduate elective course
- Course description: This course provides fundamentals of six sigma, lean manufacturing, methodology and tools along with change management and other important strategies to improve the performance of business processes. Through case studies and team exercises, students will practice solving business problems and improving processes using these powerful tools and concepts. Topics covered will include: six sigma improvement methodology and tools, lean thinking tools and cultural approach, dashboards, process mapping, applied statistics and other business improvement techniques. Students will also gain an understanding of: the strategic importance of business improvement, the need for fact based management and how to deploy these tools in different parts of the value chain.
