Nathaniel Johnston

Waiting for something to change always reminds me

That I’m young. As I sit and watch

The (measurement of time applicable) pass by,

I can’t help but laugh at my dreams and desires.

Only the (contextual God of the moment) can assist me,

Raise me up, so to speak. Think of it like this:

Have you tried to imagine reality in such a way that only

Fantasy could satisfy? Not in a (Conventional fantasy trope of your choosing)

Kind of way, but in a real life kind of way.

I’ll tell you what, I most recently reworked the world into allowing me to obtain

(Physical object or situation that is ‘hella tight’) and I swear, it felt better to me

Than anything I’ve actually had.
