Nuremberg

 

“Nuremberg” is an experimental archival documentary that follows the Nuremberg Trials: falling into the failures and tragedy of the Holocaust, with victims haunting the room. Divided into chapters, a series of anecdotes is brought to life and captures the true atmosphere of these trials and the hollow feelings of Nazi leaders.

 

Nicholas Diodato notes, “This work came to me with strong emotions. Sifting through hours of war footage, death, and corruption is not good for the psyche, but “Nuremberg” is a film I’m happy to have produced. Seeing these materials laid into a structure to experience the idiosyncrasies of this tragedy, putting us in this room was my objective, and I hope it can draw a deeper empathy.
