Daniil V Prikhno

I wrote yet another poem about love,

and another one about death,

one about power being abused,

then I fell in love again.

Her eyes were closed, and she had one leg.

Then I found a God to praise,

talked psychosis with a friend,

boom, another poem on the way.

For a while I switched to taking pictures.

Capturing the light with manmade equipment,

instead of using your human born heart.

The process turns illusion into truth of perspective.

It’s no joke what goes on

behind a good photograph.
