Short History
Ximing Guo joined the Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 1992 and became a Research Assistant Professor in 1995. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2001, Full Professor in 2007 and Distinguished Professor in 2019. Ximing is an Honored Life Member of the National Shellfisheries Association (USA). He has been directing the Shellfish Genetics and Breeding Program at Rutgers since 1998.
