Postdocs

The Zhang’s Group is currently seeking two motivated and talented scientists and engineers to join the group immediately for developing nanopore sensors for liquid biopsy.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Bioengineering, or related areas, and have a strong background in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Physical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Electrophysiology, Biosensor, or Bioengineering. and other related fields are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be capable of working independently or with others, assisting the mentorship of a small team of students, and preferably having a strong record of publication. In addition to the research projects, other duties of the position include: helping in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; verbal communication with the principal investigator, research group, and collaborators; and presenting research at scientific meetings.

There are multiple openings for graduate students with an intended start date of fall 2023.
