Ian Gaudet has been awarded a fellowship from the NSF IGERT on Stem Cell Science and Engineering. Ian is developing novel approaches to create photoactive collagens for spatial control of mechanical properties and bioactivity. He will use the scaffolds to generate microniches for control of mesenchymal stem cell behavior.
