Christopher Lowe, a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering, has been awarded a 3-year, $100,000 fellowship from the New Jersey Commission on Brain Injury Research (NJCBIR). Chris aims to improve neural cell survival and regeneration following injury using biomaterials that include different peptide fragments of BDNF.
