Camille Duchamp is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the Nutritional Sciences Graduate Program. She graduated from Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences with a B.S. in Animal Sciences in 2020 and decided to continue her education focusing on nutrition. Her current project in the Sampath Lab focuses on lipid metabolism, specifically looking at the effect of deletion of intestinal stearoyl-coA desaturases on acute intestinal inflammation. In her free time, Camille enjoys riding her horse Chip, as well as traveling and hiking new places.
