Jeffrey Douyere is a second-year M.S. student in the Food Science program, holding a B.A. in Biochemistry from Earlham College. With prior experience in environmental monitoring as a Food Safety Specialist, Jeffrey currently contributes to Dr. Roopchand’s lab. His research focuses on the estrobolome and the utilization of substrate-specific enzymes for the deconjugation of estrogens. In addition, he serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Biological Research Laboratory course. Post-graduation, Jeffrey aspires to make significant contributions to the food industry while exploring broader research interests. Beyond academia, he enjoys cooking, playing soccer, going to the gym, and listening to music.
