ACM SIGSAC announces the inaugural ACM Conference on Post-Quantum and Quantum-based Security (PQQS). PQQS is a new annual venue focused on research at the intersection of security, post-quantum cryptography, and quantum computing systems and infrastructures.

About PQQS

The transition to a quantum-capable computing landscape is underway, motivating urgent advances in
quantum-resilient security and practical post-quantum migration. PQQS aims to bring together researchers
and practitioners across theory, systems, implementations, and deployment.

Call for Papers (CFP)

The ACM Conference on Post-Quantum and Quantum-based Security (PQQS) is a premier forum dedicated to research at the intersection of cybersecurity and quantum technologies. The conference covers both quantum-enabled security systems and post-quantum cryptographic migration, integrating theory, systems, deployment, and standardization perspectives. We invite submissions describing original research contributions, experience reports, and system artifacts relevant to post-quantum and quantum-based security.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
  • Algorithmic foundations: lattice-based, code-based, multivariate, hash-based, isogeny-based constructions
  • Security proofs and cryptanalysis of PQC schemes
  • Post-quantum key exchange, signatures, and authenticated encryption
  • Implementation security, side-channel resistance, and fault attacks
  • Hybrid cryptographic protocols and backward compatibility
  • Performance evaluation and optimization
  • Secure deployment in networks, cloud, IoT, cellular systems, and critical infrastructure
  • Migration strategies and cryptographic agility
  • Threat modeling under harvest-now-decrypt-later adversaries
  • Standardization and compliance (e.g., NIST PQC transition)
