The Upcoming Academic Year –  Sabbatical!!!

Sabbaticals provide a hiatus from the normal work load of a teacher.  During the time that one is on sabbatical, it is possible to maintain a strong focus on specific goals.  I have chosen to remain on campus during this sabbatical, but I will not be teaching and will not attend regular faculty meetings.  I will see the graduate students that I advise regularly.  I will be available to the undergraduates I am assigned to advise.  I will also spend regular periods out of reach so that I can make progress on papers and reports related to my current research projects – this is my primary focus.
