Soccer Project

In Fall 2018, Lafayette College Soccer Coach Dennis Bohn had the idea of identifying hotspots that produce excellent college soccer players.  He started a project with Math Professor Trent Gaugler and CS/Math Student Cameron Zurmuhl to collect data to analyze.  After it was realized that this project involves lots of data and data integration issues, the project was transferred to the Computer Science Department and pursued first by my Database Management Systems Class and then by the Senior Project Class in 2020.  The following videos describe the project process (7.5 minutes) and provide a demo of the finished project (8 minutes).
