In July 2020, we will hold a two week summer school at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. The first week of the summer school will focus on the history and metaphysics of the concept of scientific laws. The second week will focus on the history and metaphysics of objective chance. This summer school is aimed at early career academics as well as current graduate students, especially those interested in metaphysics, philosophy of science, history of science, philosophy of probability, and related topics.
