Event Name: The Brain-Boob Connection
Presenters: Abbey Stagliano, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly a decade of experience supporting children, families, and perinatal populations. She has held leadership and clinical roles with Children’s Home Society of Florida, where she supervised multidisciplinary teams, provided clinical oversight, and helped expand family-centered services. Abbey earned her Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and is a Qualified Supervisor for clinical social workers. Since January 2026, Abbey has also served as a Maternal Health Coach with Canopie, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based support to pregnant and postpartum individuals, helping families navigate the emotional and practical challenges of the perinatal journey.

Kay Epps, MSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM, IBCLC is a registered nurse in labor & delivery, postpartum care, lactation support, and perinatal education. Kay has served in clinical leadership, bedside nursing, and education roles, with a passion for empowering birthing individuals and families through compassionate, evidence-based care. Kay holds a Master of Science in Nursing and maintains multiple specialty certifications in obstetrics, fetal monitoring, and lactation. Kay currently serves as the Perinatal Health Coach & Care Coordinator, RN at Canopie, where she provides personalized support to pregnant and postpartum members, coordinates care across clinical and community resources, and helps families confidently navigate pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition.

In this class, you’ll make a plan to set yourself up for success, and learn how to use clinically validated therapeutic techniques that may also boost milk production.
