My name is Saleha Masood (pronounced Sa-lay-ha). I was born in Queens, New York and I am a Pakistani-American. I am a senior at Rutgers University – New Brunswick majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychology. I want to pursue a career in Neuroscience and become a Neurosurgeon. I plan to get into medical school and possibly also pursue a PhD program. I’m interested in the research aspect of this field as well. I’m quite fascinated by the brain and how our body communicates with it. Aside from school, I like to bake, read, and travel. I love exploring new cultures and learning/experiencing new things. My superpower would be “Meticulously-Mindful.” This power represents the ability to approach research with careful attention to detail, precision, and a heightened focus on the intricate workings of the brain.
