The Keyboard Essentials curriculum helps non-piano majors hone vital keyboard skills and prepare for Keyboard Jury Exams during undergraduate students’ 5th or 6th-semester or for 3rd-semester graduate students.

This criteria should be performed using Rooted Split Voicings, or at minimum, any Rooted Shell voicings as demonstrated in the Keyboard syllabi. Students are to consult with their private lesson instructors throughout each semester to prepare for keyboard juries.
