Jazz/Ed Jury Requirements

The standing requisite for all jazz majors to prepare ten jury selections has been updated only to require five (5) jury selections. This update only applies to Jazz/Ed majors. All other jury policies remain unchanged.

Jazz/Ed jury tune selection requirements:

• Three (3) Tune List selections
• One (1) Mingus selections, and
• One (1) unique selection of your choosing from any source (a.k.a. “Wildcard” selection). Jurors must supply jury musicians with a basic lead sheet of their “Wildcard” selection to be sight-read; no time will be afforded to rehearse; it must be immediately playable.
