As of the spring 2025 semester, all Mason Gross private lesson students must now complete a weekly lesson attendance form after each scheduled lesson time.
It must be completed whether a scheduled lesson was taken or was missed to keep track of completed and non-completed weekly lessons. Lesson instructors will also fill out a similar form each week, which will be compared by the MGSA Director, Department of Music, Amanda Eubanks Winkler, who has instituted this process and will follow up on inconsistent entries. It is ultimately designed to protect student and faculty members and help maintain accountability of all involved.
