Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) is an evidence-based, structured program for individuals with serious mental health conditions. It empowers participants to pursue personal goals aligned with their values. Through educational resources and skill-building activities, IMR provides tools for self-management of one’s mental health. Participants learn to navigate their experiences, develop coping strategies, and enhance problem-solving abilities. IMR also fosters a positive outlook that is essential for motivation and resilience in recovery. Engaging in this program leads to significant improvements in personal recovery and overall health and quality of life.
