Rutgers Neuropsychology Lab was established in 2021 by Dr. Michelle Chen, a Core Faculty in the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research and Instructor in the Department of Neurology at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

At the Rutgers Neuropsychology Lab, we study brain-behavior relationships among neurological conditions, such as individuals with multiple sclerosis and older adults with cognitive impairment.

We use tools such as paper-and-pencil and computerized cognitive tests, digital devices, wearable sensors, and neuroimaging. One of our goals is to improve the way we assess and treat neurological symptoms through technology.
