Installing Cisco AnyConnect

If you are connecting to the Rutgers Access VPN from a device managed by RSDM IT, the Cisco AnyConnect client should already be installed on your device. If it is not available, please submit a request to RSDM IT to install the application.

If you are connecting to the Rutgers Access VPN from a personally owned device, you will need to first install the Cisco AnyConnect client.

To download the installer, visit the Rutgers Access VPN page at https://vpn.rutgers.edu. After logging in with your Rutgers NetID and password select “Start now” and you will be redirected to the client download page. Select “Download for Windows” and you will be prompted to save or run the installer.
