Emmett is an English PhD student; his (developing) research specialties include theories of textual spatiality, narrative theory, and book history. Prior to joining the Rutgers English Department, Emmett worked as a bookseller, editor, and curator of artists’ books, experience which informs his current interest in experimental and intermedia literary works. We are so excited for the knowledge and opportunities that Emmett will bring to the Rutgers Book Initiative.
