Congratulations to Michael and Connor for their review article titled “Circadian regulation of glucose metabolism: implications for pathogenesis and chronotherapy of type 2 diabetes” published in Diabetology. https://www.mdpi.com/2673-4540/7/7/122. The review introduces the intricate relationship between the circadian system and glucose homeostatic control and examines the evidence that supports the involvement of circadian disturbances in the pathogenesis of diabetes. Chronotherapy and its potential application in clinical intervention of diabetes are also discussed.
