Upcoming Training Opportunities
Please join Emilie Banz on July 26th at 9:30 am for the monthly CSS Webinar, “Healing from Within: CBT Strategies to Build Resilience.”
Please join us for our new workshop offering! The Wellness Promotion Technique Workshops (WPTs) are designed to empower Community Support Services (CSS) staff with practical strategies to enhance their ability to promote recovery, community integration, and the improved quality of life of CSS service recipients.
These workshops are interactive sessions that will focus on a diverse set of tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) that are applicable to their work in CSS. These strategies will support service recipients by promoting multi-dimensional wellness and the achievement of individualized recovery goals.
Our first Wellness Promotion Technique Workshop will take place via Zoom on July 24th from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.
Registration is open for the CSS orientation modules available through the online learning platform Canvas. The Orientation Modules are pre-requisites to all CSS training facilitated by the Rutgers CSS Training and Technical Assistance Initiative team. There are five modules in total.
The first 3 modules open to all CSS staff cover:
- An Overview of CSS Admissions and Documentation Processes
- CSS Services
- The Golden Thread of Documentation
There are an additional two modules for staff who develop CSS documentation (clinicians/RN’s):
