Goals of the Rutgers RunLab
- Serve as a resource for both injured and uninjured runners and runners in New Jersey
- Investigate factors that predict injury in runners to assist with injury prevention
- Identify personalized treatments to improve recovery from and prevention of running injury
- Train student clinicians as specialists in the treatment of running injuries
Our current research is investigating the high school runner, but we hope to quickly expand our studies to include runners of all ages.
A healthy running career can start any time – our goal is to keep New Jersey running well and healthy for years to come!
